Allen Becker is the Research Director for Grow Pro Genetics, overseeing all stages of pipeline advancement. Allen is responsible for integrating new technologies into Grow Pro’s development strategy. A graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (BA ’05, MS’07), Allen brings 15 years of experience in plant breeding, data analysis and plot evaluation having worked in diverse roles for Monsanto Co. and Syngenta prior to joining Grow Pro Genetics. He is a committee member for Varietal Development/Host Resistance-South for the US Wheat and Barley Scab Initiative, and in his down time enjoys outdoor activities with his wife and three sons.
